I’m a statistician and computer scientist, living in Toronto with my wife and young daughter. I’ll primarily be blogging on scientific topics, mostly technical and non-technical aspects of statistics and computation, but also some more general scientific issues. I’ll occasionally blog about personal interests, such as photography, and about general societal issues. See my first post for more details.
Note that although I am a Professor of Statistics and Computer Science at the University of Toronto, and will occassionally refer to my work there, this blog is not approved by, supported by, or in any other way affiliated with the University of Toronto, or any other organization.
